Had the best experience with Abel Tasman Charters. The day started with a pick up off the bay. We then went out to split rock, Adele island (learned about the conservation efforts and saw newly born seal pups), then we dropped anchor at anchorage bay. We were able to have a scenic hike and an amazing lunch. After lunch we returned to Adele island where we swam to the beach and saw a few birds. The crew, Kim and Brett, were a joy and so professional.

We had an absolutely amazing day. Our experience was personalized, with options to swim, beach, walk, or kayak. The lunch and beverages were fantastic, and Tim and Brito provided the BEST service. We saw the most beautiful beaches in NZ, plus gorgeous views. I highly recommend spending the day with Abel Tasman Charters.

A MUST DO!!!! We had little time at Abel Tasman and picked this tour to get a taste of it far exceeded our expectations. We loved the history, wildlife and delicious platter lunch with local cheeses and meat served with local wines. Most of all, we loved exploring the park by strategic paddles and short walks. We swam on secluded beaches and were visited by dolphins on the way back. The crew was kind, relaxed, informative and fun. We had a relaxing day in paradise. A must do if you are looking for a boating experience. It was easy to get to the meeting point from Nelson.

Rod was an excellent captain and guide. He knows the area well and gave us some wonderful history. The lunch was also delicious. We saw seals, stingrays, a penguin, and lots of other birds. We hiked some great trails and he really was accommodating. We could have kayaked or snorkeled but chose not to. If you want the VIP experience of Abel Tasman, go with these folks.
